Kahina Giving Beauty
For centuries, Moroccan women have used organic argan oil to protect, nourish and enhance the quality of their skin. In 2007, founder Katharine L’Heureux personally experienced the benefits of this multipurpose oil during an extended journey through the Moroccan desert. Amazed at the results on her own skin, she brought back the rare oil, encouraging friends and family to put it on their faces, hair, and bodies. Kahina Giving Beauty is a holistic line of organic skin care named for a Berber Queen and prophetess, a symbol of empowerment and a heroine for the Berber women. Kahina Giving Beauty donates a percentage of profits to support programs that improve the lives of these women.

Essaouira Body Serum // $32
Scented with a blend of pure steam distilled essential oils, Essaouira Body Serum is a fresh, crisp fragrance combining sophisticated floral notes with a hint of the exotic. Rose, lavender, herbaceous geranium and woodsy sandalwood provide a soft floral scent while petitgrain lifts and brightens. We love this lighter scent for spring and summer.

Mahalo
Born in the American paradise, MAHALO Skin Care was created to expand the limits of how we experience and celebrate our beauty, it is an accessible luxury–paradise at your fingertips. “Mahalo” is an ancient Hawaiian word of gratitude, esteem and respect. When you use MAHALO Skin Care, you engage in a ritual of thankfulness for the manifold gifts of your body, your spirit, and the Earth.

MAHALO Skin Care’s potent bioactive blends of precious super-oils, antioxidant-rich plant butters, and Earth minerals cocoon you in the opulence of Hawaiian sun, the dew of tropical mornings, and the life-giving force of volcanic land. The sophisticated performance is achieved without preservatives, synthetics, parabens, harmful chemicals and animal testing. A high-performance skin care, made from 100% pure ingredients that come from the Earth, and not the chem lab.

Vitality Elixir // $110
A facial potion that breathes youth into pores and indulges the most precious features of the alluring complexion. This luscious fusion stops time by pairing exotic Polynesian Tamanu super-oil with exquisite organic extracts of Chia, Black Cumin, Sea Buckthorn, Carrot and Turmeric.

Captain Blankenship
Inspired by the smells of the natural world, Captain Blankenship set sail on her maiden voyage in 2009. The craft was built in San Francisco by founder, Jana Blankenship, and now sails in the lush Hudson River Valley.  Since childhood she has had her nose wafting in the trees and flowers. As a young devotee, she mixed together her mother’s perfumes to create signature perfumes like “Scents of Hawaii.” This heavy mixing as a child led to an ongoing allergy to synthetic scents. Her love of smells and desire for luxurious, natural products propels Jana’s exploration. All Captain Blankenship products are made with love by her using only organic, wildcrafted or natural ingredients.

Days at Sea Dry Shampoo // $24
A miracle worker. A powerful combination of organic powders masks grease and adds volume and life to unwashed hair. Organic arrowroot powder, kaolin clay and baking soda absorb oil and mattify hair while organic essential oils of Rose Geranium and Palmarosa create a beachy rose smell.

HANA Organic Skincare
There is no comfort in reading a list of chemicals when you look at your personal care ingredients. Most commercial skincare products contain highly toxic and irritating ingredients. Those ingredients are absorbed into your skin, and often cause allergic reactions and other skin sensitivities. For exactly those reasons, Karen Ries created HANA Organic Skincare in 2011. The products are handmade on Bainbridge Island, WA, in small batches, to assure freshness and well-monitored quality control. As a person with dry and sensitive skin (and a daughter with oily skin), it was important to develop an effective, yet very gentle skin care solution not only for herself, but for others that struggled with skin sensitivities.

Eye Oil // $40
The delicate area around your eyes will love the gentle, soothing and smoothing properties of this nourishing eye oil.

Kari Gran
Kari Gran believes that beauty is not measured by age, a dollar sign or a stereotype and that women do not need to be fixed, plumped, erased or changed. They believe that beauty is achieved by how you live your life, and the choices you make. Beauty comes from being kind to yourself and to your skin. It is that philosophy that inspired the Kari Gran Brand: an all-natural, eco-skin care ritual providing a simple, elegant, clean solution that works flawlessly for any age and skin type.

Naked Lip Whip in Cinnamon – Pimenta Berry // $15
A perfect everyday lip balm that complements the Kari Gran skin care system, the Lip Whip contains a soothing combination of ingredients. Handy in the purse, in the car or on the nightstand, Lip Whip is beautiful alone or paired with lipstick and gives lips a sensual, glossy, moisturizing boost.

La Bella Figura
It has always been La Bella Figura’s belief that there is no truer luxury than what is grown from the ground and is wild, organic and unadulterated. You simply can’t beat that type of quality with the toxic fillers, synthetic colors or fake scents found in conventional beauty products. Luxury to them is not an expensive bottle of designer perfume packaged in a pretty box and sold in department stores. For them, luxury is unique, coveted and effective. The best type of luxury is produced with love and they have a deep rooted love for products, quality and beauty they wish to share with you. It may even be safe to say their love has turned into obsession and they will continue to incorporate products to enhance your beauty with great care, respect for the environment and your long term desires in mind.

Radiant Creme Blush in Frida Fabulosa // $36
Like Frida Kahlo, (the fearless Mexican painter this crème blush was named after) this is a revolutionary splash of popping color that brings joy to the cheeks and a little sabor to the lips. There is nothing shy about this confident deep coral blush so wear it boldly and paint outside the box!

MUN Skincare
International makeup artist Munemi Imai has always been in the vanguard of fashion and beauty, listing some of the fashion world’s most celebrated names among her clients, including Vogue, ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar. During a brief illness at one point in her career, Munemi discovered the powerful benefits of natural ingredients—in the food we eat as well as the personal care and beauty products we use. Profoundly inspired, she developed a deep passion for green living and embarked upon a journey to unite the worlds of fashion and sustainability. Reflected in Munemi’s passion for natural beauty, MUN brings you a unique line of organic skincare products as pure as the plants they come from.

No.11 Anarose Rejuvenating Rose Toner // $68
Every day, 100% naturally pure No. 11 Anarose Rejuvenating Rose Toner inspires skin to bloom with lustrous beauty. The heart of this hydration and radiance toner is composed of new rose blossoms hand-harvested from Valley of the Roses, the famed flower region in Bulgaria. Their unique hydrating and soothing powers are steam-distilled into the essential oil that enriches our rose water base. Prickly Pear Stem Extract presents an abundance of essential amino acids, flavonoids and antioxidants that combine with the anti-aging properties of Goji Berry to transform skin, lending it radiance and resilience. The superior powers of Hyaluronic Acid help bind moisture to the skin, while a floral blend that includes Jasmine and Daisy delivers velvety softness, for a refreshed, rejuvenated and radiant appearance.

S.W. Basics
S.W. Basics was created to be an absolutely, positively, 100% truly all-natural line. A lot of companies toss around the phrase “all natural” these days. Unfortunately, labeling laws for personal care products are extremely lax, and in their experience, “all natural” almost always translates to “not-at-all natural.” Their products are made simply using only the purest quality ingredients they can find. And because they believe every business has a responsibility to preserve a sustainable environment, all of their ingredients are either certified organic, Fair Trade, or sourced from small family farms.

Hibiscus Mask // $22
If there were an official skincare product of every middle-school slumber party in every ’80s movie ever, the Hibiscus Mask would be it. It is a potent blend of alpha-hydroxy-acid-packed organic hibiscus for increased cell turnover, mineral-rich French green clay to draw out toxins, and complexion-soothing organic lavender. For added awesomeness, the hibiscus gives the mask a bright burgundy color, making it the perfect highlight to a good old-fashioned night of pajamas, pizza, and best-friends-forever.

I see somewhat of a Hawaiian theme here. I will not be getting this but hope one day to sample something from Mahalo one of these days since I have been seeing this brand being reviewed in boxes lately.

        Is Camilla making an appearance?
As long as it’s sunscreen, mini, container and now I realized I made a second Hawaii references, no, not creepy. What’s creepy is that I am seeing a pattern of the above in my postings lol :p

Camilla will indeed be there! This is after all her subscription that she “lets” me have… I think she just likes to roost in the fancy box!

I won’t box you in but yes, it involves sunscreen lol

I have yet to try a Mahalo product. I am hoping the body serum shows up in my August Goodebox.

      • July 30, 2015 at 6:34 pm

Oh I want that in my box too, I have not tried that brand yet either

I like learning about these brands even though no more skin or beauty anything until my stash isn’t ridiculous. I have a Lush addiction too.

    • July 30, 2015 at 2:15 pm

There’s a Lush store near me. I’ve been it and don’t understand it. It’s always crowded and most times I can’t even get near the products. You need to enlighten me and give me one or two recommendations.

This box interests me. I am passing on it because I overspent this month. I have to be at a meeting at 11 anyways. I should be working on paperwork now. I hate paperwork!

Love Lush but that addiction has pretty much past I am using my bath products as a special treat for my eldest wee one.
Short of their bath bombs and bubble bars they can make samples I believe of their masks, lotions, and soaps. The soaps are awesome but they are a special treat because they do not last long. My favorite soap was the honey one it smelled to nomable.
I would stock up the day after Christmas when most of their holiday products was BOGO but the last time I did this I had wait a few days before they went BOGO.

That sounds like a good sale!

I like the Rose argan solid shampoo and beach salt scrub from Lush. Smells delightful and makes hair and skin soft.

That shampoo bar sounds really nice maybe I will mosey to Lush for it. Have you tried the other shampoo bars (I had tried the white and blue ones if they still haventhem)? Is the rose Arian more moisturizing?

      • July 30, 2015 at 11:49 pm

How do you like using a shampoo bar? I have a couple from subscription boxes that I have not tried yet. I’m disappointed that I can’t use the shampoo because it has SLS in it. My face burns if the shampoo touches it. Maybe I can ask for a tiny sample to see if it will react to the shampoo. The beach salt scrub sounds great.

It’s always crowded in the store. My teen wants me to take him to Hot Topic so maybe I will stop in and look around.

The shampoo bars are a little drying that is why I asked about the rose argan. I liked the shampoo bars because they give sqeaky clean feeling.
That scrub might smart if your sensitive and had just shaved (unless they changed their formula).

I tried the blue shampoo bar, the Rose argan is more moisturizing. Honey I washed the kids is the toffee soap, very nice. I go to BOgO sale too, hence the, stash.
