Kumari Luxury Oil Treatment
Kumari Luxury Oil Treatment 4 oz

Kumari Luxury Oil Treatment: The oil treatment is one of the reasons why I purchased this box. It is a hair oil that you use once a week at night and shampoo out in the morning. It is a pre-shampoo deep conditioning treatment. It is designed to stimulate the scalp and help improve hair quality. I am in the 40s and want to have beautiful, long hair as long as possible. It has a light, pleasant scent. I love their slogan. A happy mind. A pure body. A playful life.

One drop and your life is transformed.

Zoe Insect Repellent 4 oz
Zoe Insect Repellent 4 oz

Zoe Insect Repellent 4 oz: I’m looking forward to using this item. It has a light lemongrass scent. It is 100% organic with ingredients that do not irritate my skin. I will be using this later this week if the sun sticks around. There’s lots of outdoor work ahead of me.

Subscriptionista should use this as man repellant the next time she attends Comic Con.

Alima Pure Lip Tint Blackberry:  This goes on lightly.

The lip tint is  moisturizing with a slight peppermint scent.

Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream Baking Soad Free, Grapefruit
Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream Baking Soda Free Grapefruit 2.4 oz

This is the last item I will be unboxing on this post. The remaining items will be in the Part 2 post.

Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda free Deodorant Cream Grapefruit: I have been using this since I received my box last week without any issues. That’s not saying much because it has been mostly cool and rainy. I’m curious if it will work well later in the summer.  Note the hieroglyphic writings.

It’s easy to apply with fingers or with a mini spatula.  It does smell like grapefruit.

How could I not include a couple cat pictures. The brand is meow, meow, tweet!

The hieroglyphics on the jar prove cats have ruled the world since ancient times. Sorry dogs.

I will be saving my verdict for part 2.

My boys want to know which cat picture is your favorite. Please share in the comments along with anything else that is on your mind.

I love all the kitty pics the best always and hope for dog ones as well. I also like how you put the stuff around nature. Really upping the picture game on this site for sure!

LOL, I wish I had to use repellent! Wait…hmmm…maybe not…. I don’t want too many nerds mouth breathing sweet nothings on me.

Tell us how the hair stuff works when you can!!!

    • July 15, 2015 at 3:48 am

Only for now. I am hoping the ground will dry out soon so work can be done.

You never know when you need man repellant.

You need to write which cat picture you liked the best!

I have sipped on a large glass of red pondering this question and no answer can be grasped. Do you prefer air over food and water? Do you want pizza or french fries? This question haunts me. I suppose, though, it is the expectant look from the kitty who maybe is hoping for another treat that will win my vote.

The kitty that has had what it wants just walks away. I prefer the kitty still hoping for the favoring of a treat!

Link has the sass. But Boots has that super white fluffy chest… Little white paws. Link is all swagger, but Boots is kinda like my kitty. I had to bring in a consultant for this and so it is decided.

LOL.I prefer air over food and water, Your next question is a tough question.

Pizza is a serious in my house. My older son has memories of real pizza. My younger son has none. There is no decent pizza place in my area. Try explaining this to others who are used to cardboard tasting warmed-up dough with cheese and toppings on it. I pick fries.

I miss real pizza. The last time I had real pizza was in Chicago 6 years ago. Yummy. Chicago knows how to make tasty food. I rather have food than air in Chicago.

Thanks for picking a kitty! Puss in Boots was raised by my younger son since he was a little tiny kitten. He was born in his room. Zelda is his mother. All of them are now spayed/neutered.

            You nailed their personalities.

Sorry Puss in Boots had to go with Link. Great part 1 review.

  3. July 15, 2015 at 4:27 am

I like Zelda curled up in a ball in a different post, but I don’t want the other kitties to feel left out! I eyed that box but decided I needed to wait till I work through some of my stash…..

    • July 15, 2015 at 1:50 pm

Zelda is a sweetie. She has the calico personality where she prefers only my younger son and tolerates everyone else. I tried to take pictures of her when she was awake to put in the other post. She looked mad in every picture.

Our cats are also working cats All of them are except for Puss in Boots which will always be my younger son’s baby. The mousers are part of the organic plan that we need to file every year to maintain our organic certification for the farm. They are the organic mice and rat control.

I liked the second one best. I get the cool factor of the first one, but I’m going for cuteness.

    • July 15, 2015 at 1:52 pm

My little guy thanks you. I took a bunch of pictures, and the boys couldn’t decide which cat picture to put in the post. They want to know which one is the most popular photo.

They are both really great pictures of adorable cats! I like the slightly out-of-focus high as a kite look on Link but also appreciate the shear hope in the Puss in Boots picture. I think I will vote for Link though it is quite close.
I’ve been considering adding either Goodebox or Petit Vour to my arsenal but am not sure which to go for. Sigh, first world problems.

    • July 16, 2015 at 2:46 am

Thank you, CeciliaA. Link would not stay still. He loves his catnip!

I can see why it is a difficult decision even if it is a first world problem. Feel free to ask questions.

Goodebox has a 4 page intensive survey that helps them customized the box. They also provide discount codes for some of the products.

Petit Vour has a short customized survey. You do receive points for reviews which you can use in the PV shop.

Wondering which product(s) drew you to box 1 vs. the other boxes?

    • July 17, 2015 at 1:12 am

      Cindy, thank you for commenting!

I went to Goodebox’s website to see what brands were participating this year to see if any were my “must haves”. None of my “must have” brand were listed. Goodebox sent out an email the night before detailing all the products. I went through and added up the amount to see if I would break even. I have rosacea so that can play into what I can use.

I love hair products. The Kumari Luxury Hair Oil $38.00 sounded interesting. My hair responds well to hair oil, and this is a bit different because it can be used as pre-shampoo treatment La Bella Figura Elysian Fields Hair and Body Hydro-Essence $65.00 can be used on my hair and body although not on my face because of the aloe. The ingredients are different than other items I use. Province Apothecary $36.00 sounded like fun. Zoe Organic Insect Repellant $45.00 is a must. That put me at $184.00.

I waivered on it because i wasn’t sure if there will be a better box for me. I also felt the box would sell out quicker as the month went on. I went back and looked at the list again and knew i would use the rest. Sold!

I did not purchase box 2 because retinol irritates my rosacea, the facial soap did not interest me, nor did the hair product. Nothing else interest me enough to still purchase it.

I did not purchase box 3 because of the possibility of receiving the starter kit in rose which irritates my rosacea, the face powder was of no interest to me, and the foundation required me to send a picture of my naked rosacea face and may not even cover it properly. Nothing else interest me enough to purchase. I did think it would sell out quickly because of the foundation. I felt it was a strong selling point for a luxury box.

I have no idea what will be in box 4 or box 5. There should be teasers for it on their Facebook page in a couple of days.

I hope that answers your question 🙂 Let me know if you have more.

I got boxes 2 and 3. I have fine, straight hair so hair oils are not very useful to me. I am allergic to roses so anything with it is questionable for me. I am hoping that I don’t get the rose scent on the starter kit. I will note that request when I send in my pictures. It does seem that the boxes are selling out quicker with each one. I was online at exactly 11 today and got one. I made a list of the remaining products so I

By the way, have you heard of the SpaHeroes box? I got my first one this month and it’s lovely.

        • July 17, 2015 at 5:03 am

SpaHeroes is on my wish list. What is the item?

What are you most excited about box 2 and 3? Are you planning to buy more? I’m hoping and not hoping that box 4 is amazing. I do want one more box 🙂

The Spa Heroes item I got (which is the newest one) is Mahalo’s Pele Mask and they also included a small size of their newest item which is Vacation Glow which is a hair and body oil. I am awaiting the reveal of the next item. I was able to use a code to get the first box at a discount (I think $10 off). We shall see whether the next item warrants full price.

          • July 18, 2015 at 4:54 am

First reveal of box is May Lindstrom’s The Good Stuff. I was hoping for Blue Cocoon.
