Sit Down and Get Comfortable:

This is my third Birchbox year subscription. Each year subscription was within months apart from each other. I got suckered in by the 30% everything code during Black Friday week! I just moved into our first home, so the place is a mess. Birchbox was my first subscription box, so I was happy to receive it and dig right in! In celebration of my new home, the background used will be the bathroom travertine marble. Although dated, I remember it being the rage when I had cable and watched HGTV lol! Plus it is the only way I can get decent picture dark at night. And it makes me feel so Italian and being in Italy because I hope that Italians do use travertine marble, and it’s not some American thing! Kinda like blooming onions in Outback Steakhouse where the owners admit they have never been to Australia. I digress…

Chuao Chocolatier Cinnamon Cereal Smooch Choco Pod

Ok straight for the good stuff. I think I was a little hungry because I ate this nom real fast. From what I remembered it was really yummy and reminded me of a fancier rice crispy chocolate bar.

Definitely a Nom!

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain

I am obsessed with Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain in Just Pink and Just Peachy. This Jane Iredale sample is Just Peachy. Isn’t she so cute and tiny awwwwww!!! I think this is my second Just Peachy sample, and I bought a full size of the Just Pink. Ladies this stuff is moisturizing and reminds me of my childhood using the dry mood lipstick in a scary cooler. In any event, both shades are sheer and not lip glossylike.

JUARA Coconut Illipe Hand and Nail Balm

Ok, I love my Juara samples but this one I love the extra moisturizing properties but not in love with the coconut mixed with cocoa butter (I googled illipe). If Juara had their original scent in this formula, I would be all over. I am definitely going to use up this sample but will not repurchase. I am eyeing FabFitFun because there is a full size Juara jar, but nothing really is screaming to me to buy that box otherwise the Juara jar is just shouting at this point. Maybe a sale over the usual $10 discount will elicit the Juara screaming at me.

eSalon Perfect Ending Leave In Conditioner

Onward, I like Perfect Endings (who doesn’t)! This Perfect Endings Leave In Conditioner does its job but it is nothing earth changing for me to write about. It smells nice!

They should have Perfect Ending tea or ice cream . . . or both. I could make MILLIONS!!!

Now this is something to write home about. Ladies if you love Suki Exfoliating Cleanser but hate the container drying on you; this pretty jar will make you one happy lady! Lemony scrubby goodness on ma face I tell you.

Coastal Scents® glamourEYES Eye Shadow Duo

And then we have the Harvey Prince of eyeshadows. This eye shadow duo will go in the RAORK pile for a young tween who will go nuts with the green eyeshadow for St. Patrick’s day.

 

Verdict: 

I loved this box. Ever since Birchbox started Pick Your Sample, most of my selections were the curated boxes. I see tons of value and a plus this month because the majority of curated boxes are five items and this month was six. I loved the ChocoPods so much that I had forgotten to take a group shot because I already threw the wrapper away.
