And a cameo appearance by Squeakette!
Our little Squeakette here was the neediest of my Squeakers today. I bought myself some time and gave her a bag of Goldfish crackers to keep her busy.
Do NOT give wee ones a nutrigrain bar unless you intend on bathing them right after. Some advice from a friend 😉
All the noms on display and ready to be cooked!
Here is some of my prep.I kept the white parts of the onion intact as I again wanted to roast them as I learned from one of my first Home Chef recipes. I added some grape tomatoes from my garden. I find it interesting coming from New Jersey (AKA as the Garden State) that I did not like tomatoes until recently. Jersey tomatoes are supposed to be the best.
Again my camera loves red items. The tomatoes look so juicy! Who knew I had a green thumb?
Frying up the pork product!
I heart Anthony Bourdain. He is also from New Jersey.
Getting that blue cheese crust ready for crusting!
But the big chunks went straight to ma belly!
Flipped over the pork product…
Added the “crust” and onion to garnish lol.
Toasted the slivered almonds.
Toasted slivered almonds are the new pinenuts.
Some lovely pats of butter virtually melting in your mouth.
Not that I would eat a pat of butter. But to imagine it melting in my mouth sounds good. Better with a hunk of bread.
Holy Tomatoes! They conquered the string beans!
Oooooohhhhh this looks nommy…
VOILA!!!
Verdict:
Win! I NEED to goto Trader Joes and buy slivered almonds and add almonds to as many dishes as I can! What a nommy surprise having a bit of (healthy) crunch.

Oh my, this looks amazing! Pork chops and blue cheese! YES!
And I’m so glad to see a floor full of crackers. Tells me I’m not the only one. (Recently, I went to bed and found myself surrounded by mango bits and juice. I mean, how?)
Thanks Artemis! Home Chef definately helps to bring a nice meal quick, but as you can see, sometimes reinforcements are needed. You are totally not the only one. I sweep at least twice a day as when there is food and young squeakers involved, crumbs and bits appear and mate like bunnies.
Drool worthy meal!! Bravooo! McBoyfriend asks what’s for dinner these days and then interrupts with “tomatoes and more tomatoes??” I apparently have a small mountain of tomatoes that he feels uneasy about…
Btw, definitely one of my top favorite squeaky baby pics yet!!!
I will inform Squeakette of this ASAP!
Squeakette approves 🙂
Thanks Onderria!
My tomatoes are winding down for the season now! I am going to make some chili and toss some tomatoes in so to hide another tomato dish!
The tomatoes are so good looking!!!!! AGRHGHGHHHHHH I WANT!!!!!!! (Send to me? lol) We need to get some videos of you cooking!
