Wonderful Scripture
Wonderful Scripture

I love this Scripture. It’s a great reminder of what we should be doing. I’m passing my Faithbox onto someone who needs it more than me. This person is feeling weary and needs renewing. September has a guest curator. Any guesses?

The September box is my second guest curated box from Faithbox.  The first curated box was curated in May by Dale Partridge, founder of Sevenly and Causebox. It was his book that was the May Spoiler that persuaded me to subscribe to Faithbox.

Yes, the September guest curator is Joyce Meyer! Joyce Meyer is a well-known and well-respected Bible teacher, author and speaker.

I had a hard time arranging everything artfully. I posted both pictures because I am indecisive about which photo to use. Faithbox supports companies and products with positive missions. I always look forward to seeing what companies are included in the box.

Where is Zelda when I need her supervising the photo shoot?

The central piece

Everyday Faith Renewing Your Mind by Joyce Meyer: The central piece to Faithbox is the monthly devotion. September’s theme is Renewing Your Mind.  The September theme is a popular Joyce Meyer’s teaching.

The devotional booklet has quotes, Scriptures, and action items.  There is room to write down your thoughts.

Battlefield of the Mind
Battlefield of the Mind

Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer: This book is what immediately comes to my mind when I think of Joyce Meyer. It’s a 20 year old classic book that is still popular today. The recipient of my box is excited about this book.  The book is the type of book that you pass on to others once you are done reading, so they don’t miss out.

Have a Dream for Your Life CD by Joyce Meyer: I did not open the CD because I am passing my box on to someone else. It appears to be a 55-minute talk that will help you renew your mind and encourage you in fulfilling your purpose. I had a hard time taking pictures of the CD. The camera would not focus on the words if I zoomed out too much.

An example

Growing in Wisdom book by Joyce Meyer:  The book has different sections with Scripture that relates to the topics. A few sections are Freedom from Fear, Loving Others, and Making Good Decisions.  It is Scripture only, and most pages have room if you want to write something underneath it.

Magazine Subscription
Magazine Subscription

Enjoying Everyday Life Magazine:  I used to receive a magazine from Joyce Meyer Ministries about 15 or so years ago and looked forward to it each month.  This is a nice touch. Well done, Faithbox!  It shows the thoughtfulness that went into curating this box.

THX Ground Coffee

THX Co. Original Blend Ground Coffee: I can’t do the company justice in a few sentences. This link explains it well. You select the coffee or fragrance that you are purchasing and purchase it at cost. You add a donation amount and select from a drop-down menu where you want your donation to go. The FAQs explains how the company operates and answers questions such as why THX Co is not a non-profit. The Scripture that THX Co. selected is perfect for its company.

Verdict:I am impressed that Faithbox partnered with Joyce Meyer. The selections are solid and fits the theme. I encourage you to check out the THX company. I’ve enjoy watching Faithbox grow and am looking forward to see what happens in the last quarter of the year. The box arrived last week giving recipients plenty of time to prepare for the new month.

This is one of the most informative reviews of a subscription box that I have ever read. I appreciate that you focus and explain the contents rather than just focusing on the retail value. Great review and great box. I’ll have to think about getting this one.

I came to you via catladybox searches and now I’m gonna stay for your insights on all these subscriptions! Do you know if there are any environmental boxes? Every month you would get something that would allow you to be more sustainable/environmentally aware? That seems like a good one to put out in the world. Perhaps I should do it if I can’t find one!
