Since Little Lace Box (LLB) made the change to send out a box every other month it has put many customers on a roller coaster of emotions. The month they get the box they are anxious and excited, then they get the box and they are overjoyed. Then, the lull of the wait during the month that LLB does not ship out a box. All these women are holding on to the knowledge that the next month they will feel that high once again.
Which brings us to Serendipity, LLB’s answer to the lull month. The cost is $9.99 and includes shipping. Those who already have a Little Lace Box subscription are getting Serendipity for free at the moment, but it won’t be a forever thing. Items and themes in the box are still being worked out but that goes with the whole idea of Serendipity anyway right?

I am surprised to see a box!
Stonewall Kitchen – Holiday Tea Towel: This is festive and cute! I am going to put this to use right away so it looks like I have my crap together. I mean does someone who is low on cat litter, only has one egg left, and needs to eat about five Greek yogurts before Monday’s expiration date have it together enough to put out a nice holiday tea towel out? Thought not!
I want to wear this in some way to a holiday part to shame my sister… I will keep leaning in like I am going to tell her a secret and then loudly whisper “Get into the Holiday Spirit!!!”
Stonewall Kitchen – Roasted Garlic and Onion Dip: Ok, I love onion dip, but I never saw it as something suitable for a social occasion. Let’s get together and share our bad breath! Yay! I see this as more of a secret pleasure for those who like to watch Netflix and eat things that smell not so great but are oh so good. It says to mix with mayo and sour cream. I am going to mix it with plain Greek Yogurt which is pretty close to sour cream. I don’t want to eat mayo…
I slept a lot better before I knew what was lurking in dip…
Stonewall Kitchen – Mini Spatula: I am excited to get this spatula because it is made of silicone and will be tougher to melt. I cannot even count how many things I have melted while cooking. My cooking stuff looks like it made it through a firestorm and lived to tell the tale.
The info letter gets hilarious on an enviable level when it talks about spatulas to such a degree that I can’t help but wonder if my writers block of late has been due to LLB’s stoke of writing fun.
Or maybe it is the fact that I gave up all drinking on Mon-Thurs. (Friday is after all Prime Time Happy Hour!)
240Sweet – Gourmet Marshmallows: Reports have come back that these aren’t lasting anyone the night. I get that, because they look so good why wait? I am fighting the urge to gently place one on my kitties ample belly while she sleeps. It just seems like it belongs there, you know? I want to use mine for a hot chocolate. We bought these hot chocolate sticks that Pnut found at Trader Joe’s.
Friends tell friends how to satisfy their deepest vices?

Mixbook – Fully Customizable Premium Holiday Cards (10): This is a super cute idea and I like that they included something that could be used to order holiday cards for free. The code expires Nov 30, so I am going to put in my order asap. I will post them up when I get them on the blog or Instagram (seriously follow us on Instagram and get weird @subscriptionistablog).
How creepy would it be if put Sub Bella’s picture on my Holiday cards? Do you think she will send me a pic of her succulent feet?
Verdict A really cute month that I enjoyed a ton! I am really glad that there were not a bunch of beauty products and that they seem to have their old spirit back. LLB sent me a winner!
Disclosure: There are affiliate links in this post. Box bought by meeeeeeee 😉
Yes, it would be creepy to put my picture on there! I received the green plaid towel and the plain dip. I’m very happy with this box. It was a great holiday entertaining box. I already used the towel as a background in the sub box pictures.
That’s a great idea! Plain dip? No flavor? Weird!!!
You got dip flavored dip?? How does that work?
Subista, your cat is super cute!
My was roasted garlic and onion. Thank you and your kitty is super cute as well. I feel like all these cats really make a house a home ya know?
No wine Mon-Thurs?!?! Is this possible?
Make sure you use one of those greek yogurts with the garlic onion mix before the yogurt expires. 😉 I don’t know if I would like the dip with greek yogurt… I may have to try since that sounds much healthier.
I’m starting to think Subista is a closet health nut and doesn’t want to admit it. She talks about drinking wine every night and eating Cheetos and lots of chocolate, but I think it’s all a ruse!
Heat, my sister in law got me into substituting Greek yogurt for sour cream in tacos, chili, etc. and using it in dips. It’s supposed to be healthier, right? And I can’t tell the difference.
I honestly can’t tell the difference. It is just less gross to me for some reason.
I don’t like mayo and in the peace corps I made my own yogurt but it would be plain. We would use it with beans and pretend that we were eating mexican food hahahah I do try to eat healthy but I never count calories or deny myself anything. I am proudly pretty darn good at portion control. Just not with wine. sigh, wine I can drink and drink and drink.
My dip is called Vegetable Dip Mix. I also received chocolate marshmallows!
REALLY CHOCOLATE?????? I am so Jelly!!!!!
Sounds like a plain dip lol!
Chocolate marshmallows are a definite nom!
I belong to little lace box but I did not receive one. Are they still sending for free?
No. I had to buy it on the site. I miss the freebies!!!
They had 20 extra bags that they randomly set out for free this month to LLB subscribers. My sister was disappointed because she wanted to purchase a bag after hearing about mine.
Silly LLB. Put them in the shop first then discount them months later (is learning the ways of subscription boxes).
