Little Lace Box is a lifestyle subscription box that graces my cat hair covered condo every other month. Sometimes when I think about it, I imagine the curators shocked faces that the box they took so much time to perfect and theme is sitting next to a woman with a red wine joker smile and a bowl of Trader Joe’s Baconaise Popcorn.
Sorry bout that LLB!

Sophia von Bearcat de Coronado has her way with this box shortly after this picture…
This month’s theme is The Little Prince and they did a pretty good job with it!
Kristin Pearce Designs – Large Freshwater Pearl Necklace: Little Lace Box does a cute tie in with sand and how pearls start out as a grain of sand. I am not sure they were trying go give me the feels or what, but it happened. Oh tender art thou Little Lace Box!
I read a comment on a forum where a woman said the pearl falls right between her boobs and so she couldn’t really think of a way to wear it. I wanted so badly to comment about pearl diving! But that would be inappropriate so I will just leave that comment here.
If you take a real pearl and gently rub it against your teeth you can feel the sand in it!
Passport To Beauty – Tibetan Goji Berry Eye Serum: The retail price for this is $88 which is really a shocking price. I guess I should not be surprised as some of my sorority sisters spend a lot more for a lot less. This does seem to be a product you might be happy slapping on your face while braving the holiday madness. I wish we could eat it though, all the ingredients sounds really yummy.
I can see myself pulling this out every time my mom asks me if I will have kids before my “ovaries dry up” and just sort of transporting myself to Tibet where I have a pretend family that just talks to me about goat farming…
Pre de Provence – Lumiere Candle (Verbena): Subscribers were given either Lavender or Verbena which both sounded good to me. The verbena smells super fragrant and I am now wanting to buy them all up and make my home into a super fragrant romantic den.
The candle is large and I think this will make a lovely gift should I shrug off my hoarding and actually part with something. I think this is perfect for a box around this time and really a great quality item!
Camilla the Hen loves items that remind her of her homeland…
Shiraleah – Fingerless Gloves (Dark Blue): I always get full on box envy from people who get different colors than me so those of you who got black and grey think of me being jelly when you wear your gloves! I do like the dark blue and I love the big button detail. Perhaps the big button will make my alien like hands look more demure?
These fingerless gloves should be called hand warmers because they look more like leg warmers but like, ya know, for your hands…
French Decorative Frame: This frame is my jam right now because I need one, and it goes with the little studio I am currently renting as what people have been calling my “office.” Subscribers received two different styles (or so other better bloggers would have me believe) and I am happy with the one that made its way to me.
I will probably put a picture of my bear in it, that or another picture of me since I do so love to litter spaces with my imagine…
R. Nichols – Luggage Tag: I travel a lot and use luggage tags. I usually get really bright ugly tags so that I can see my bag from a mile away. I also usually splash out on really loud luggage for the same reason. This season I will be buying more subdued luggage because I am sort of sick of attending meeting and having people stare at my bags as I check in. Let them stare at my cat hair and croissant crumb covered yoga pants instead…
I could probably be this chick if I were a stick person!
Bonus Travel Candle: This is a large travel candle! I of course love the scent as it is peppermint. I never really travel with travel candles and never thought that anyone ever really did until last year on a business trip. I went into a coworkers hotel room and she had the whole place filled with candles! She even had large ones. She really knew how to travel! Even had See’s candy lollipops just kicking it around. Sweet!
I would totally take this little fox to Coachella!
Verdict: This month’s LLB was a total winner for me and makes me believe that they have things back on track. The items are useful and curated in a manner that reminds me of why I signed up for LLB! I now have items I could gift with pride but at the same time, items that I will keep and use.
Feb’s theme will be: Love Letters

Wow, it really does feel back on track. I love that candle!
The candle is really pretty. One of the ones where you save the jar!
This is the best LLB box I’ve ever read about! It almost makes me want to sign up for a 12 month sub with $30 off and get the Kate Spade Agenda! Almost.
I agree although I was eyeing the 6 month gift…
I think this box has such great items! Still it is a lot of scratch to spend…
Same here! I want to sign back up. I think they are back on track. November Serenpidty was great! The items in December LLB look amazing. The candle looks great too!
I love how you placed the frame against the foilage.
I thought of you when I did that btw! I also thought about how I sparse it is where I live. I need better places to take pics!
Very lovely! But I also wonder why call them “travel candles”. Like really, who is the classy dame packing for her flight and is all “toothbrush, hair brush, contacts…oh I can’t forget my candle!”
Nice! I love travel candles not for traveling (unless moving the candle to another room counts) but mostly because they don’t break and they are hard for my Pnut people to infiltrate. If I have one of these candles somewhere other than a kitchen, I usually put some matches in the container.
Some days I feel like going from room to room should count as travelling. I should see about getting my passport stamped: “Ally actually moved from the bedroom to the sofa today”. But I have narcolepsy, not Pnuts. I do babysit a pnut (I’m assuming that means tiny humans in subscriptionista-speak) a few days a week though. Which is practically a miracle because babies kinda terrify me.
I love it! … And she moved back to the bedroom! Such a jet setter going two-way.
Yes tiny humans. I came to Subscriptionista with human babies not fur babies! Somewhere they morphed into Pnut people 😉
They make me afraid too. Like they are plotting something! 😉
It totally counts.
Thank you! I totallllly agree. I never have it together and I travel a lot. I just throw crap in and hope it all works out. I wear contacts as well and that is probably the only thing I really try to remember!
I so lucked out! I got two boxes — one with the Groupon or whatever — and I wound up with both candle scents, both frames, two different colors gloves (red and black!), and two different luggage tags. So thrilled with this box!!
I am so jelly!!! I mean I like the blue ones I got but I would LOVE black. I guess I could *gasp* buy more! 😉 Awesome that you got in on a deal!!!
This is the fourth LLB I’ve gotten, and it is by far my favorite. Luckily I am on the flatter side of the chest spectrum, so the necklace length is not an issue for me. I’m excited about the February theme, too.
I am SO excited about Feb!!!!
I decided to purchase a six month subscription. The Feb theme looks amazing.
I don’t blame you. I am thinking this box will bring back a lot of people!
So much laughs I had to start writing down part way through…
1. As I read about your kitty, I looked out the door and Bella was just staring at me from the hall! Creepy.
2. That eye serum looks like chocolate, and I was really confused why you got $88 chocolate, so I had to reread.
3. Mmmm pearl sand… I like using manmade freshwater pearls in my wrap bracelets.
4. This looks like an awesome box! I once tried to sign up and they charged me but never sent a box… perhaps because they didn’t set a limit on the number of coupon codes and I put in 3?? Hehe. My bad… and their bad really for not putting in a limit or emailing me!
Aww thanks for the sweet feedback! I hope that they gave you your $ back. I have had issues that customer service took care of super fast. oh and your cat… I think… knows….
Me thinks I will be getting the 6-month deal. I would go for the yearly deal but I just spent an insane amount on an Erin Condren planner.
This was my 3rd box of a 6 month sub and it was definitely the best one yet!
I think 6 month is a good call especially if you don’t need a planner. I hear a TON of good things about Erin Condren planners!!!!
