Perhaps no cultural handicraft is as synonymous with the Central American region as backstrap loom weaving. The loom gets its name from the leather strap that weavers wear around their waists to keep tension in the threads and the cloth, and so the distinctive Mayan cloth is quite literally attached to its creator while it’s being made.

      I think I ordered the first seahorse. I selected red and orange. The last seahorse would match his room better, but he is like his mom. Bring on the color.
