GlobeIn Pillow Pet Review

I ordered my younger son a seahorse pillow pet from GlobeIn for his birthday.  Click here to see the post detailing the sale. He is done with dinosaurs and is moving towards a seashore motif. The package took little less than a week to arrive. He opened it the other day and loved it.

Daisy, our English Shepherd, wanted it as a baby. All her doggie toys are lovingly taken care of and live under or around my bed. I can’t say the same for the other 2 dogs. I placed it in my usually photo spot where Little Lamb had to check it out.

He decided it was not made out of catnip. Little Lamb is my most laidback cat.

The seahorse pillow is made in Guatemala by female artists. They are handwoven.

The artisans use contrasting colors. I am amazed by how well it came together. My little guy’s seahorse is the red/orange combo.

I wrote in the order note section, “Happy Birthday, XYZ.” I never expected that Globein would include a card. He was excited about it especially because he knows about Globein. It’s an exciting time when Globein arrives. Everyone wants the basket.

He’s happy with his seahorse and been sleeping with it at night. Sorry about the dirty nails. He plays like a boy all day. He also is afraid of having his nails cut. It’s a sensory thing. He tries so hard in every picture.

Verdict: My little guy is very happy with his seahorse. The seahorse is vibrant and well-made. I am touched that they included a birthday card.

Have you ever ordered from Globein? Did you order a seahorse?

Pnut, thank you. I feel sad when I look at the pictures. He is not a little boy anymore.

It feels that way. We are looking at colleges for my older son. I sit here and wish I could go back in time and enjoy the younger years more. Those days were long!

Thank You! My little guy was trying so hard in the pictures. Little Lamb will let me pose him as long as I pet him. The pillow is nice. I’m impressed.

Your son has a beautiful smile :o) Is he going to name the pillow?
Thanks for reviewing this pillow! I was very intrigued by them when I saw your first post – thought they were an awesome combo of funky and cute. I really liked the idea you had to use them as couch pillows – I think if I could have picked the color family I might have. The colors on the seahorse you got are absolutely perfect, I think. A wonderful bright combo!
