The Butter Box recently had a drop sale on its website. I was running low on body butter and decided to give their body butter a try. The Butter Box also offers a monthly subscription. I’ve been thinking about subscribing. Let me know if anyone is interested in reading a review! The Butter Bar is founded by two best friends that wanted amazingly scented natural beauty products. I love their tagline – “Good Enough to Eat”. The products are free of parabens, sulfates, petroleums, and phthalates. They also partner with “Water 4 Youth” which provides all their shea butter. Everything is made by hand. There is a 7-10 day lead time on orders.
My package had a rough trip through the USPS system. However, the body butters did not arrive melted because I elected to add one ice pack at an additional cost. I am glad that option is available.
Mint Choco-Holic R$ch Butter: I tried this butter today. It rubs in well and leaves behind a chocolate minty scent that I could smell throughout the day. My husband could smell it hours later whenever I moved around.
It looks good enough to eat. The body butter is light and airy.
I wouldn’t recommend eating it, but I doubt it would hurt you if it did.
It’s warm in the house. You can see it starting to melt into my skin on the left hand-side.
This is my wrist after rubbing it in. My skin feels moisturized without feeling oily.
Choco-Holic R$ch Butter: Did I mention the smell? Both jars of butters smell delicious and good enough to eat. The Butter Bar recommends putting the butter in your hair and scalp or on your skin. I am going to try the Choc-Holic in my hair tomorrow morning.
The Choco-Holic Butter is a little darker without the mint oil in it.
Verdict: I am happy with my The Butter Bar order. I’m looking forward to trying out the butter in my hair. I may try out a monthly subscription box.

Rachel, thank you for commenting! I am leaning towards reviewing the mini-box because the products have no preservatives. I need to be able to use everything up in a month or so.
I checked out the link….
Those cube scrubs look scrumptious and so yummy (but alas they are not edible)!!!
Maybe that’s a good thing.
Thanks for review, I will sign up for mini box.
