Thank You Gift from my Son

I’m very touched by this. My older son gave me a thank you gift for being there for him the past few weeks.

The platter brought tears to my eyes. I was originally a single mom and decided that this was my china pattern even though I wasn’t married. I acquired pieces throughout the years.

The local store carries this plate. I saw it the other day and contemplated on whether to buy it. I ended up not purchasing it and suggested it as a possible Christmas gift. I’m touched that he did this on his own today.

My husband has been going back and forth this week to our country property that is a working farm. My sister sent home two playful young cats because she now has Link. Midna is an intelligent kitty. She’s always thinking. I had a hard time taking her picture because she was watching the camera.

I always loved this pattern. There’s nothing wrong with TV tray China. We use our China plates as everyday plates at the farm. Might as well enjoy life 🙂

Awwwwww… Very sweet. It is so interesting on how we adore what we treat ourselves but if it comes from our child, it becomes one our prized possessions *heart melts*
    Lovely post thanks for sharing!

Your son sounds like he is growing to be a thoughtful gentleman. And that is a compliment to you both.
