Sesha Skin Therapy Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Mask: not sure which box it came in? This blog keeps reminding me I should use what I have so that’s the only reason I did, thank you! I left this on for the max 30 minutes and my skin felt a little tightened (in a good way). I used it right before bed and my skin also felt slightly tacky (as in sticky, but not quite sticky…)
Deva Curl foils from BeautyFix: these are BIG foils. I got 3 uses out of them and could have gone 4 on my fine hair but I got tired of saving open foils… Plus is was good but nothing special. I definitely need something more than just the Light Defining Gel to control my frizz!
L’Oreal Revitalift foils from Target (Sept., I think): there are probably some not-so-great ingredients in this but I’m not super picky. My skin did feel hydrated and a little plumped after using. Some people may be put off a little by the florally scent but I kind of like it…
Skinceuticals Phloretin CF (serum? the little brown bottle with dropper) and SkinMedica TNS Eye Repair (little silver tube): these are both from BeautyFix and I was almost finished using them when I looked up their Paula’s Choice ratings and info… And I was almost scared to finish them – yikes! The Phloretin was really stinky (like a burnt smell?) and I didn’t really notice anything special about either one anyway. 🙁

Here’s my empties!
It was a slow week.
The TATCHA Lifting Facial Mask and the TATCHA travel-size Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream came from the order that Zelda wrote. I used the mask because I have not taken care of my face as well as I have in the past. I noticed when I was using the mask that my chin soaked up the serum quickly. It took longer for my cheeks to absorb the serum. My face looks wonderful afterwards. The cream works great on my face. It soothes my face and keeps my rosacea from bothering my skin. Both items are made in Japan.
The Balanced Guru Scrub Me Nice and Gritty Body Scrub and The Seaweed Bath Co Volumizing Conditioner are from the same Goodebox Bonus Halloween Treat #5 that Pnut reviewed. Both products are travel-sizes. The Balanced Guru Scrub is my favorite body scrub. I love the scent and it carries throughout the house.
The conditioner has a great scent. I have a hard time using The Seaweed Bath Co travel-sizes in the shower. This time, I emptied the conditioner into a small cup before washing my hair. Much easier! Great scent, works well with my curls although I do not need the volume.

I made an attempt at cleaning/organizing all my skincare and hair products in my bathroom yesterday – it’s part of the de-cluttering I want to do as motivated by the “Change What You Can” series on this blog. It was a pretty good start but I didn’t even think to take a picture of the products I threw out! Granted, it wasn’t a ton but they were all full-sized. I just needed to get them in the garbage can outside my house ASAP before I changed my mind and tried to keep them!
Balanced Guru Scrub smells like a minty coffee that would make your mouth tingle with mint flavor.
I miss Kelly. Maybe she is on vacay and will be back this week. We need her summations.
Good job on the de-cluttering! I definitely get the I NEED to trash asap and not having another peek. I have doing some Sparking Joy with a smidge of Angry Cleaning (Honest Toddler was right angry cleaning happens on Sundays). I have a million hair sprays but I think I am going to give them to my niece when she comes here for Christmas as a care package for school. She be all fancy with her new army of expensive hairsprays this not my high school Aqua Net!
I miss Kelly too. I recall her saying she had time off before her new job started. I think I would have loved Honest Toddler when J was little. Great job cleaning and decluttering everyone!
Balanced Guru’s scrubs are the best scented in my opinion. The scent is there until the end. You can still smell the scent in the container when it is empty. It’s the only scrub scent that I used that carries throughout the house.
Great job on the empties, ladies! I did not finish any products this week. Womp womp. I will encourage anyone, though, to organize their beauty stash. I did that late last year and it was eye-opening and since then money-saving.
VERY eye-opening! And yes, it reminded me of what I have (and how much!) so I need to stop (slow down) buying beauty products for a while… 🙁
I am very slow at using my samples… I’m kind of a sample hoarder and just keep lingering with products trying to savor them. I think the last item I finished was the Palmetto serum from the FabFitFun Spring box. Now I have my Target ROC to pretend to keep my wrinkles away. Although, snack samples are gone as soon as I set my phone down from picture taking…
