At the end of July, my leetl sesstra is getting married three days before I turn 30, and this Friday I start my new career as a librarian so this summer is a big deal for me! Stress city, stress stress city…

Congrats on the new job Onderria! I hope you love it. My husband and I are kicking off a road trip Tuesday: first to Tucson, AZ to visit my best friend, then Kalispell, MT to see my dad, and finally Coeur D’Alene, ID to stay with my sister. All in 2 weeks…Woo!
When we get back, we’re seeing a live show of our favorite podcast (Welcome to Nightvale), and going to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios for my 33rd birthday. We’re also taking a former student to his college orientation at UC Santa Barbara- he’s house/cat sitting for us while we’re gone, and this way we get to spend a couple days in Santa Barbara too.
Finally, I’ll be traveling to San Jose at the end of July for a conference of the California Teachers Association. Then it’s back to work teaching August 10th, so in between all this I’ll be planning my courses! And I am currently panicking just looking at this itinerary…all I wanna do on my break is lay in bed all day and read, haha!

Erin, your summer sounds busy but great! I’ve driven through Coeur D’Alene several times, and it’s a beautiful area. Have fun at HP!!!!! That’s on my list of stuff I’d love to do, but 4 movies in and my boyfriend still isn’t a HP fan. Tell me how San Jose is–that’s where I’m taking online classes from.
I think I had a panic attack thinking about doing all this!
My theatre company is performing our tour this Summer, so I’ll be outside enjoying the sunshine at various parks while watching our actors perform Shakespeare plays!

Bad Kitty, I will try to watch Jeopardy tomorrow. My favorite famous person is Ken Jennings, and he is the most-winningest Jeopardy contestant. He’s hilarious, and I love his Twitter feed! Also, his book Maphead is great.

I will be going to work, in an office tomorrow, and the next day and the next day….But I do have a new puppy, and I love the long days and the beautiful weather. I will be trying to log lots of steps on my new Adidas tracker and house training the puppy.

New puppy *squeal*! What breed is s/he?
She is a black lab, 10 weeks old. She will be a big girl, probably 85-90 pounds. Right now I am in the tired mom stage, plus she found the cat box. Yuck! She is still small enough to get through the cat doors we put in but not for long!

Jeapardy, librarian, teacher off for summer with many adventures, new puppy… Oh my! All so fun.
I am attempting to get into better shape for our Florida vacation in late July (Anna Maria Island) while starting a new role at work (not a change I was expecting or wanting really but going to make the most of it) and then having a milestone birthday in August… not excited about that but trying to remind myself that it’s just a number and doesn’t mean anything!
