Influenster is a group online where you can check out people’s reviews of everything from water to mascara. I joined because I kept seeing how they had different products to review all sorts of interesting items. IT felt almost like a subscription box because boxes of products sent out for review are in something called a VoxBox.
I signed up and hooked up my social media to the system to see how much “Social Impact” I had. Turns out not that much, thought I finally (with the help of you all following my social media) made it a step higher lol Regardless of not being famous, I was still able to score my third VoxBox. All of the boxes are different depending on what group you are in. This time I was put in the Sprout Box crowd!
I honestly don’t know the magic to getting a box. I just answered some of the questions and lucked out. I almost made it into other campaigns but I am thinking either I turned out to be too old, or that they didn’t want my “sort” in them lol Totally kidding but I have been surprised how fun the program has been.

Perhaps showing that I am not yet. Big Dog in the ever weirder world of Social Media I was not graced an actual box but a group of samples to try out. Never one to turn my nose up at fancy brands to try out if only for as brief a time as a foil will allow I decided to go ahead and accept the task of sharing my thoughts on them!
The packet!
I was send the repair booster! I am glad that I got the option that will help bring comfort to my skin!
I found it interesting that they don’t want you to use this product alone. Must be pretty concentrated. However, it makes me TOTALLLLLLYYYYYY want to use it alone to see what will happen…
Don’t worry I won’t do it until I get my hands on more of this without the need to test it within the confines of its directions!
I decided to mix it with the overly expensive L’Occitane Divine Cream I received in a gift with purchase I was sent.
Once I had it all mixed in I applied it to my face. It did not change the scent or feel of the lotion and I did not notice any pilling. Great!
Mimosa Tenuiflora is the main ingredient for this booster. Word is this was used by Mayans, and it super awesome for making your skin calm the hell down. If you have skin like me you know what I mean!
I have actually spent a considerable time studying Mayans and even doing a dig in Honduras… yet no one told me these secrets! Not a one!
They also included some sunscreen foil samples to mix in!
Verdict: I have been wanting to try out these new boosters for awhile now. I like the idea of adding something I want on my skin for a specific issue and at the same time being able to throw it into whatever I am wearing for the day. Sometimes I like to use a foundation and other times I wear nothing but sunscreen. So this allows me to actually just mix and apply without worrying about another cream I need to apply and hope looks great on my face.
It is tough for me to give a huge amount of feedback for a 3 day sample. I was actually able to get 6 days of trying the product because I cut the sample corner with scissors and could do drops really easy. My face did seem to be on a “good day” run which is awesome. But I still had redness by my chin where I am super red. So not a super cure all in that amount of time.
I am going to look more into this product as I really did dig the ability to make customize my skincare and not gonna lie… it is fun to mix things up and slap ’em on my face!

That looks like fun! But I admit that I am probably too lazy to mix my skincare products before applying them.
Mix in all my favs!
Hmm interesting. I used to work at Coldstone, so I have a lot of experience with mixins ;D
