I did this post to show two variations of the box. I thought about added it to the other Goodebox review, but it doesn’t fit with the storyline.

Subscription: Goodebox

Cost: $21.00 monthly, $60.00 for 3 months, $114.00 for 6 months

What to Expect: Natural or organic beauty and personal care products along with occasional samplings of health and wellness products.

Shana's box. Thank You Shana!
Shana’s box. Thank You Shana!

Shana was kind enough to send me a picture of her Goodebox.  You can view Shana’s comment here about her box.  The items that differ from my box are:

1. 100% Pure Dark Chocolate Mascara: This sounds amazing! It has cocoa butter and cocoa powder in it. It’s cruelty-free and great for sensitive eyes. Is there such a thing as edible eyelashes?

2. Oneself Organics Hawaiian Flower Lei Perfume: This is handcrafted by Hawaiian using sustainable practices. No synthetic fragrances or alcohol is in the perfume. Writing about this perfume is the closest I will ever come to visiting Hawaii.

Amazing Products!
Amazing Products!

Here is my box for comparison. I did receive a replacement for the 100% Pure Purity Spot Treatment. This is the first issue I have experienced with my Goodeboxe account. Goodebox did quickly rectifying it by sending me a new product. I am not able to use the acne product that the  system selected because I marked large pores as being an issue. Thank you rosacea 🙁

I do want to update that I have been using the following:

1. Yarok Feed Your Shine Drops: This has a wonderful applicator making it easy to apply a few drops into my hair. I can smell the Cedarwood oil which I love. My family says my hair looks shiny.

2. All Good Coconut Sunstick SPF 30: I keep this at my computer desk which makes it easy for reapplying if I am indoors for awhile. I still apply sunscreen despite all the rain because the sun does peek out once in awhile. The scent compliments the Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Perfume.

3. Grace Organic Antioxidant Toner with Cranberry and White Tea: I was nervous trying this because the first ingredient has aloe in it.My face feels blissful when I use it. I don’t know how to explain it. My skin feels calm and serene. I will be purchasing a full size if the effects continue.

4. Acure Brightening Facial Scrub I already use this product. Amazingly my face can tolerate it. I’m happy to have a full-size. My 6 year-old volunteer to show the scrub which he says it looks like mud.

My 6 year-old was unimpressed with the scrub.

Muellin & Sparrow Facial Serum

Muellin & Sparrow Facial Serum: This is my replacement item that arrived yesterday.  It has a light scent to it. Ingredients included are rose, carrot, and ylang ylang. I will be using this on my neck if my face reacts to the rose. This leads to my …

Muellin & Sparrow Problem
Mullein & Sparrow Problem

The discovery process is where Goodebox shines. I tried the Muellin & Sparrow French Lavender Body Oil in my May Goodebox which I absolutely love. I ended up buying a full-size body oil from Mullein & Sparrow which is the empty bottle on the right. I finished it yesterday. I also used my one year code and Birch Box points to buy the Mullein & Sparrow Essential Set.

    Great boxes and review!

Pnut. Thanks! Also I want to let you know that I stopped by Trader Joes and picked up a package of the milano lookalikes. The package lasted about 10 minutes after I got home. It didn’t help that my older son and I started eating them on the way home. Let me know if there is anything else I should be trying at Trader Joes.

You gotta try the Mango Mango candies, I have to buy enough of them to keep both my husband and daughter happy. Their 3 Cheese pasta sauce is also a family favorite.

          I’ll check them out. Thanks!

The Mango Mango is a gummy candy, love that they don’t use artificial colors and nasty stuff in their products…

Ohhhh… They sound like the penguin gummies but the penguins have a little juice in their tummies. They also have variations juice gummies for Halloween and Easter I think.
Another blog to suggest is what’s good at trader joes they are not affiliated with TJ.

My younger son will love that. I feel lost when I go in Trader Joes.

The Acure Brightening Facial Scrub is one of my favorites! The mascara sounds interesting too, I wouldn’t mind smelling like chocolate!

    • July 14, 2015 at 9:17 pm

I agree! It must smell wonderful.

I will be trying that this weekend, I don’t wear mascara at work (I actually wear sunglasses inside at work – prevents migraines from all the glare.) I actually have a black mascara from 100% pure so I will be doing a side by side comparison. (and seeing if they look good enough to eat after…….)

I am trying to figure out if that is the same scrub I had last month. I had this sample and it had big chunks of something in it so it was really hard to get out of the tiny tube, but I loved it.

Be sure to report back. Inquiring minds want to know:)

I can’t imagine working around that much glare. Ouch!
