GoodeBox LE ANFGB Box 1 Part 2 Review

Disclosure: This box was paid for by me. There are no affiliate links in this post.

I’m sorry it took so long to review part 2. I had to wait for the sunshine to come back to retake a couple pictures. It did when we were busy doing the last minute preparations for my teenager’s mission trip.

This is the GoodeBox LE A Night For Green Beauty Box 1 Part 2 Review. There will be a test on the name later. 🙂 Goodebox is releasing 5 deluxe luxury edition boxes in July to support A Night for Green Beauty.  The proceeds from the sales support No Barriers Youth Experience. Click here for detailed information. I purchased the first box, did not purchase box two or three, and am leaning towards purchasing box 4.

What to expect: The items are teased on Facebook leading up to an email sent the night before the sale. This email details the products in the box that will be worth over $300.00.

LA Bella Figura Elysian Fields Hair & Body Hydro-essence 2 oz
LA Bella Figura Elysian Fields Hair & Body Hydro-essence 2 oz

La Bella Figura Elysians Field Hair & Body Hydro-essence:  This is one of the items that led me to buy Box 1. It is an amazing lightweight spray that can be use on hair and body. The scent is light and pleasant.  It hydrates the skin and nourishes hair follicles. It is the first time I used a beauty product that had watermelon as an ingredient.

Beautiful packaging!
Beautiful packaging!

I love the packaging. La Bella Figura is made in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

The name “Elysian Fields” makes me feel that I should be laying in a meadow, listening to Enya while my skin and hair follicles hydrate.

Laurel Eye Cream 10 ml
Laurel Eye Serum 10 ml

Laurel Eye Serum: This is a gentle eye serum that has a slight scent. I love it when I can pronounce and know what the ingredients are in a formula. The Laurel Eye Serum does many things including help with inflammation. One drop is all you need per eye. It’s “Made with love in Northern California.”.

Laurel Whole Plant Organic’s slogan is “Plants- Love- Science”. Who says you can’t have it all?

One Love Organics Oh Mega Calming Chai Oil 1 fl oz
One Love Organics Oh Mega Calming Chai Oil 1 fl oz

One Love Oh Mega Calming Chai Oil: This smells amazing! I can smell the lavender in it which I love. This oil calms irritated skin. The Calming Oil can be added to your moisturizer. This is my third product from One Love Organics which has never disappointed me. I can’t wait to try it! One  Love Organics is 1 of the 10 ecocert manufacturing facilities for natural and organic cosmetics that are located in the USA.

No more complaining about how hard it is to find Made in the USA beauty products!

Province Apothecary Lover’s Kit:  There are 3 products in the kit. I did not include a picture of the 3rd product in case someone is reading this at work. They are items that enhance your fun night with that special someone. This is made in Canada.

Sub Bella doesn’t kiss and tell.

Verdict: I’m very happy with the selection provided in GoodeBox LE A Night for Green Beauty Box. All items and most brands are new to me. I feel that they are luxurious products and am enjoying pampering myself.

You made me look up what Elysian Fields is referencing. There’s a prominent street here in New Orleans named after it and I know I’ve seen other exits for other Elysian Fields… Looks like it’s a concept of the afterlife in Greek Mythology. Thanks for getting this Wiki-hole that I’m about to dive into started.

Enjoy! I’ll be in the Wiki-hole with you.

I imagine that they are actually making reference to the Champs-Elysees, given that it’s the most famous fashion avenue in Paris.

But it’s funny how the same name can elicit different reactions in people. In my mind, I conflate the Greek Elysian fields where heroes went in the afterlife with the Parisian Champ de Mars, so I can only think of dead people 🙂

Now I am curious. I sent La Bella Figura an email asking if they will tell us what inspired the name.
