My favorite mascara is …
I want Zelda-like eye lashes! I can’t use mascara because it irritates my eye disease. I loved wearing blue mascara back in the day. Why do subscription boxes constantly send out black mascara? I understand it is a universal color.
What’s your HG mascara and why? Regular waterproof? How many do you own? Do you think subscription boxes should send black only or a variety of colors?
To have Zelda’s eyelashes would be lovely! I want to wear mascara but I wear contacts and have yet to find one that doesn’t bother my eyes when i wear it.
I wear contacts and mascara every day! Mascara in general is my holy grail make-up product. Not waterproof bc it never gets lashes as long or full as regular.
L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes in Blackest Black is one of my favorites. But since I started getting sub boxes earlier this year, I have 7 unopened mascaras from those plus 2 that I’m using right now. (Julep Length Matters that I like a lot – skinny brush that may not give enough volume for some but length is great! And Too Faced Better than Sex sample – fat brush that took me a couple times to figure out how to use so that I like it pretty well now but not amazing as I’d hoped.)
My mom is loving the glo-minerals Lash Boosting Mascara that came in the much-bashed July BeautyFix.
I prefer black but would enjoy a deep purple/plum or maybe navy blue for a fun change!!

Alpha lipioc acid and Biosil or biotin, help with lashes, skin, hair, connective tissue. I love loreal voluminous, Have, yet to see other brands, beat this one consistently.
I should try biotin and see if it helps my skin.
I love the W3ll People Expressionist mascara for every day use it adds length and volume without looking clumpy (I hate that clumpy mascara seems to be a thing again) and lasts well. I tend to use Lights Camera Lashes for a more dramatic night on the town look.
I would love to get a blue mascara in a box. So fun!
I read that in a magazine! Why? Everyone was working hard to not have clumps.

I’m fascinated by people who wear fake eyelashes. It seems tedious to put on and painful to take off.
I too have several mascaras from sub boxes, I guess they send black since they figure everyone will use it, I have blue eyes and blonde hair so I use both black and brown mascara, would love to get a dark blue one! I wear contacts and prefer waterproof mascara so if I need to remove, clean, and reinsert my contact during the day my mascara wont rub off or run down my face. I may be makeup challenged but to me all mascaras seem to work about the same, the only difference is when they start to dry out and then I know to throw it out! lol sorry but lengthening/thickening/etc has never made a noticeable difference for me!
It’s good feedback! I’ve learned a lot about mascaras from reading comments on subscription forums. It’s interesting. It would be nice to pass on a blue maraca to my sister once in a while.
