July Beauty Check-In

Do you have any favorites from July’s boxes? Did you try a product and loved it? Did you hate it?

Here’s another look at my Birchbox July 2015 and Goodebox July 2015.

The item that I liked the best and purchased a full size…

Angel Face Botanicals Grace Antioxidants Facial Toner
Angel Face Botanicals Grace Antioxidants Facial Toner

I haven’t been able to find a toner that I can use since being diagnosed with rosacea. I was hesitant to use the Angel Face Botanicals Grace Antioxidant Toner because it has aloe. It worked well on my face. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

BM30
The Derma/e Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Creme SPF 15 is not from the July box. I did try it in July, and it irritated my rosacea zone. It felt like it was stinking tiny little cracks in my skin.  That was discouraging. I was hoping to find a new moisturizing with SPF in it that worked on my skin.

I have fallen in love with the Air Repair moisturizer, the LAQA & Co cheek and lip tint from birchbox, and the IT Cosmetics mascara from the Allure Beauty Thrills box!

Great! I can’t wait to receive my first Zoe box in September. I love reading about people enjoying their summer box.

Ok DevaCurl was a miss for me. I hated the shampoo, it coated, the smell was chemical, and it was the worst sulfate-free shampoo I ever tried. The conditioner smelled a better but then it felt that I added another coat of stuff in my hair. The gel smelled great and like its description it was light. My hair looks ok but not worth trying again I am tossing the foils away *does not spark joy*

A part of me is afraid to try and the other part of me wants to try it. Maybe I’ll give it a go next week.

Try it on a hot day that way if you get the frizz, you can put your hair up :/
FYI nothing from John Freida (the old school anti-frizz gel, mouse, etc.) worked for me if we are hair twins then that might give you a better heads up what to expect from DevaCurl.
