IRL: What Candle are You Burning?

One of the advantages of having a home office is that I can burn a candle during the day.

October Fields Yuzu Ginger Candle

October Fields Yuzu Ginger Soy Travel Candle:  I received this candle in the Vegan Cuts Mother Day Box.  The made-in-Maine, USA candle has a light breezy scent.

October Fields has a care guide for soy candles because soy burns differently than other types of candles. It’s great to see what a small 15-acre farm is capable of producing. It will be my last time burning this candle.

Way Out Wax Sweet Dreams Medium Travel Tin:  The Sweet Dreams candle is from the March 20I5 New England sack. I plan to burn the candle tonight if my husband drives the children to their Wednesday night activities. I love lavender and lemongrass and find the scent pleasing.  The made-in-Vermont, USA aromatherapy candle helps calm tension in the body.

No candles allowed in my work office… so jealous!

But I recently ran across information on Beeswax candles and wanted to get others’ thoughts. Apparently they’re more expensive but that’s because they can allegedly purify the air and help with allergies & asthma. I’m trying to decide if I should buy one – not for asthma, though my husband does have allergies – but for general goodness. 🙂

I can vouch for good packaging back and great value when I bought bulk candles (non-beeswax) here

I did not buy candles here but they sell beeswax candles here too

Let me know your thoughts maybe I will join the beeswax wagon if you buy and like them!

        Thanks Pnut!
Now that I’m home, I’m burning an Almond scented soy candle from Miss Selby’s. 🙂

I sent some links but they are held bc of the ladies are preventing shilling lol
They are venders one which I bought candles -genwax- the other stuff other than candles -savoncrafts-
I am not sure but pretty sure these prices are competitive for whatever they are selling

Thanks for the information, I never knew about beeswax candles. I would be interested in trying them out too!

I wonder how beeswax candles compare to soy candles? I have a beeswax candle from the March Prospurly box that I have not burned yet mainly because it is shaped as a pine cone. It seems awkward to burn.
