Hi!
Waves!
I am still here! You see, school is starting soon and since we will be having two students waking up early to catch the bus, I need to assist.
Alas, I need to figure out more times than blogging after midnight.
I have uploaded so many pictures which is half the battle in blogging.
See featured picture. It is in a box but not a subscription. Still, good eats.
In the meantime, feel free to comment below (or pretend to). I will still love you.
Love,
Pnut

Fall is coming and I can’t wait! I know everyone loves summer, but I am looking forward to cooler weather and all the delicious food I will be able to cook without melting in the kitchen. Good luck wrangling two kids to the bus each morning!
Hi Ake! I LOVE fall too. Are you a baker? I made a delicious mistake of buying bulk brownie mixes from the Amazon (I am a box baker lol) and the Squeakers want me to make brownies every day so we have Central Air running. I try to run the oven in the afternoon when its the warmest.
Thanks for commenting 🙂
Hah! You’re a braver soul than me. Although I did make these awesome banana chews in the oven yesterday. It was very low temp (250), and I did it very early in the morning, with all the doors and windows open and the fan on. I will just have to come visit you to eat your brownies.
Nom!
I have been shopping my pantry challenge the past few days. I am going to to roast chickpeas today! The banana chews sound yummy I will look that up because the freezer is 98.9% where old bananas go to die. The Squeakers and I would love to share our brownies with you anytime!
https://app.ckbk.com/recipe/runf66827c05s001r002/banana-chews I used a reduced amount of canola oil instead of coconut. I like them a lot, but it’s too much waiting for just three bananas that cook down so much. Next time I’m doing at least 8 (2 pans with 4 each).
I am going to do this but we just got two bunches of bananas and the Squeakers ate all of them up!
I made Meghan Markel’s zuchinni sauce today but I should have done it in the slow cooker. I can’t keep babysitting it and my timer kept nagging so after 2 hours I put more water and have it boil a little bit then put a lid on it (lodge cast dutch oven bought on sale at you guessed it… the Amazon). I think its ready but wonder if it cooks down a little more will it be even better? And is this nuitritionally depleted I can’t find anything via Nuitritionist Google. I digress thank you for letting us share our food adventures… I need to blog all about them!!!
