Birchbox cost’s $10 a month but if you review your items then you get a credit of 10 points for each one which is $1 to use in the store. Points can only be spent in increments of $10. Which take no time to get. They have the best point system out of any box I have tried!
Birchbox is the “Gateway” box that will lead you down a road I have yet to make my way back from. Perhaps in that forest of boxes you and I will meet and discuss bronzer while spraying various products all over our hair. The murmurs around us will lead us to our next “Holy Grail” beauty item…

Verdict: I really like this month’s box! I am interested in trying everything though the perfume is not my favorite. I am all about having a sniff though. I will let everyone in the world know if any of these products are life changing!

Sorry for taking a dump on your post but I HATE the actual Birchbox. Nice items though got the same perfume will be used to scent trashbag. I skipped the curated to get the Arrow lipbalm as I am stuck in the 80s at least the updated versions are more moisturizing.
Now that I am relieved and no longer constipated, I was looking into making BB drawers and wished for a moment that we had the boring uniform BB of the past.
Pnut did you notice a difference in your lip color with the Arrow balm? It made my lips shinier than usual, but I’m not sure how the color different from just putting on chapstick. Science experiments will have to be conducted to fully comprehend this Ph phenomenon.
Slight tint but I noticed a slight tingly minty taste! I like it. I am keeping mine where I can lose it but not feel that bad because the packaging is less than to be desired. Like the actual BB above box it really bothers me more than it should. I actually love the BB actual curated box box but not the items in it I wanted that lipbalm! *has packaging issues*
If you get it outside of your lips does it color your skin? Like lip stuff is usually annoying to me when it is not easy to put on blind

You know I am not one to be a negative nancy specially here but that box … maybe if it was kitty stick figures that would be cool. Maybe I am miffed because I think I may not be able to make a nice drawer of BBs. I will try with my Glossys but I have to wait because I only have three and they are all different! Or do something else with them *goes back to googling subscription box hacks*

I have had used the beauty protector – protect and detangle. It works very well.
I also really liked the beauty protector! More than I thought I would. Now I’m using the empty bottle for apple cider vinegar and water to spritz on my dry arse scalp. Funny, I just threw out my last Catherine Mandrino sample today and was wondering if that line had any other scents. I liked the black spritzer I had–what’s yours smell like?
I forgot the smell but it was not nice enough to apply on oneself but not offensive enough to not scent the trash. I liked the black Mandrino too I used it more slowly to scent the trashbin. My trashbin smells like roses 😛

I was on a Kiehls kick many moons ago and hoarded all the samples they gave me (I would purchase one thing and ask for the deluxe samples and anything they wanted me to try they were so generous beauty dealers getti me hooked) and I gave away a hair oil sample to someone with dry scalp and it was apparently a life changing thing. I even went to the store in Manhattan for the congested experience lol. There was this movie with Jennifer Aniston where she would ask for a sample jar at a department store and then she would line up her samples nicely. That was me before sub boxes lol. I digress.
Hate everything in this box. I’ve gotten the beauty protector twice before, and according to my daughter it’s not nearly as good as the $8 a 32-oz bottle regular detangler she uses (or rather used before the discovered leave-in conditioners). The REN mask is probably OK but I have a couple. I got the Malandrino perfume last month and it’s not my thing. ModelCo stuff is usually made in China, which leaves the healing balm which is just lotion.
I liked the box I got better, but not that much. I think I’m over Birchbox. I’d been saving points to turn into free boxes, but I decided to use them up and buy a perfume instead. I still have 7 free months to go, but if they don’t improve I won’t stay with them after that.
