Saturday Empties Extravaganza 9/12/15

Disclosure: All items were purchased by me. There are no affiliate/referral links in this post.

This is a  weekly feature mainly because I do not want to keep empties in my house for a month! Email your empties pictures to me at subbellaboxes at yahoo dot com. Don’t be shy!

Pictured is two weeks worth of empties. This week was a slow week for empties.

Giovanni Conditoner
Giovanni Conditioner

Giovanni 2Chic Blackberry & Coconut Milk Conditioner: I decided to try this based on Kelly’s recommendation. It worked great on my curls and did not fade out my color. I bought a replacement already. The conditioner contains no SLS or parabens.  It is made in the USA.

Mineral Fusion Curl Care Shampoo
Mineral Fusion Curl Care Shampoo

Mineral Fusion Curl Care Shampoo: I prefer the Lasting Color Shampoo. The Lasting Color Shampoo works better in my hair and gives me better curls which seem contradictory to their names. I noticed that sometimes curl products don’t work as expected on my hair. I think it is because my hair is color-treated. Mineral Fusion is the brand I use the most because it works well on my hair. I buy it in bulk when the local store runs a 25% off sale.  The made-in-the-USA shampoo is paraben-free and gluten-free.

goddess garden sunscreen
goddess garden sunscreen

goddess garden kids sunscreen: I received this in a couple different subscription boxes. I think this is the one from the Whole Foods Ready for Action bag. I like goddess garden as a lotion. I do not like it as a spray. The lotion rubs in nicely without any residue. The spray comes out thick resulting me in applying too much onto my skin.  The made-in-the-USA sunscreen rates a 1 on EWG.

Aubrey Kids Sunscreen
Aubrey Kids Sunscreen

Aubrey Kids Sun SPF 45 – I had a difficult time finding this online. I am leaning towards that this may be an old product that I had sitting around the house. That explains why it did not work well for me. It’s made in the USA.

Laurel Eye Serum
Laurel Eye Serum

Laurel Eye Serum: I received this in my Goodebox LE ANFGB Box 1. I used it as a facial serum because it helps with inflammation and strengthens capillaries, both problems that I experience with rosacea. I noticed an improvement in my skin quality. I am going to purchase the Laurel Anti-Inflammatory Serum that is designed to help rosacea.

Yarok Feed Your Shine
Yarok Feed Your Shine

Yarok Feed Your Shine Hair Serum: I received the hair serum in my July Goodebox. I love it! The bottle pictured came in a wonderful care package. One day I will order a full-size bottle. I use about 15-20 drops because my hair is very thick and long.

My last TATCHA
My last one

TATCHA Enriching Renewal Cream: Sniff, sniff. This cream is my last TATCHA cream from the Kloverbox + MSA Limited Edition Beach House Box.  Click on the link and read Subscriptionista’s review if you haven’t yet. Thank you to all that sent me their TATCHA creams.

Acure Repair Shampoo
Acure Repairing Shampoo

Acure Repairing Shampoo: The color-safe shampoo can be used on curly hair. My hair loves argan oil and appreciates the shampoo. I will buy the shampoo when it is on sale. The made-in-the-USA shampoo is from the Whole Foods Weekender Bag.

TATCHA blotting papers
TATCHA blotting papers

TATCHA Blotting Papers:  I use the blotting papers to blot my face on warm days.  It does not remove makeup when you use it to blot. It’s also great for blotting the small of your back if you become sweaty and need to go somewhere. I know it’s TMI. It gets the job done!

TATCHA travel hand cream
TATCHA travel hand cream

TATCHA Hand Cream:  I kept the travel-size hand cream in my purse. I found that it reduced the inflammation in my hands.
