At least 5 items allegedly based on your personalized profile or a curated box. This month’s curated box is called the Glam Life Guru Box.
Let’s Get This Box Unboxed!
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo
This Living Proof dry shampoo smells like a flower field. This is the most long lasted scented dry shampoo I have ever used. I think they may be a good thing I like my products to smell nice. The spray is very powerful and strong, so I do not suspect that I would have any issues with the spray clogging. This is good because I used some BB points for a purchase and used a code for another of this dry shampoo. I am starting an army of dry shampoo!
Pnut and Subista both huff Dry Shampoo!
Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Concentrate
This Shiseido eye creme was less opaque than the Avene Serum. I did not notice any special properties. The scent was nice but forgetful. Just a good all around eye creme in my book. I think I will give this to my mother she likes this pricey brand and would appreciate it.
I feel like She-Ra holding this Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Concentrate in my paws!
Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer Conditioning Lip Treatment
This Jouer lip treatment showed up a light pink. Applied nice. Smells sort of old-fashioned rose scent. I did not notice any plumping action but definitely no stinging. Very cute packaging!
Yes, I do I feel like my lips were essentially enhanced and conditioned!
Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum
This was a thick white semi-opaque serum. I applied it, and it felt and smelt nice. And this is the first serum that I used that did not leave me feeling parched! This will be in my repurchase mind if I ever run out of serums. It may be likely serums are the smallest of my army arsenal.
Does the double hydrance mention cancel each other out like a double negative?
This baby is strongly pigmented. I actually watched the Birchbox reveal video, and it stated that you would have a good 30 seconds before it sets so I would definitely advise to do so! I do not get the fuss. I think I may give this away to someone that appreciates eyeshadow stick applications as I prefer solid powder eyeshadows (and to a lesser extent, cream to powder eyeshadows).
Blend, blend, blend baby!
Verdict:
I stuck with my monthly Birchbox subscription because I was gaga for the curated box. I really like the dry shampoo, the serum, and the lip treatment. I find that this box is a great value for $5 (as the other $5 is banked via points). Whether I will stay for December, it all depends if there is a snazzy yearly code or if the PYS is something I am gaga for.

It looks like a great box! I enjoyed reading the review.
Thanks Sub Bella it was definitely an improvement over last month’s box. Usually I am more happy with BB’s curated boxes I usually pick them more often than not. I am curious about December PYS. Also whether BB will shift its practices for the better now that more $10 boxes from bigger companies (Macy’s and Sephora) are entering the sub world.
I got the whole Collection because I’m that way. I actually like it all but find the lipstick to be drying (they do say add moisture) and the shadows are super dark and if you make a mistake it means you need to spend a ton of time trying to fix it. Great review!
K! The stick (your new backup) has your name on it!
I still neeeeeed to pack. We should be closing this week!
