Ipsy Subscription Review – February 2016

Ipsy is a subscription that costs $10 a month and sends out four or five deluxe sample size beauty items. Because of the price point it invites comparisons with Birchbox. Ipsy is more make up based, and has a “waitlist.” You can skip this wait if you pimp out your social media. I just emailed and asked to be put on the list and it was done very quickly.

I this this is my favorite bag of all time. It is just everything I want in a make up bag! Except maybe I would want something a little bigger…

That’s what she said!

Dr. Brandt – PoreDermabrasion: I am beyond excited to try this out! I religiously use another exfoliation product from this brand and while others have not been impressive for me it has been my favorite. I need to exfoliate my face because I am just a husk walking around at this point.

Do you think if you exfoliate a bad person enough you will find a good person underneath?

My Amazing Leave In Secret – Spray Conditioner: I wish I had a little time to try this out before I write this because it has a pretty big promise. I mean it is supposed to be “amazing.” I am ok with sharing the secret with you because we are so close!

My twin is a bad secret keeper, you can just look at her and see a woman dying to tell something!

bellapierre Cosmetics – Mineral Blush: I like the color of this blush and it seems to apply well. I used a light had with it because let’s face it, I am not make up goddess. This container is simply huge. I mean seriously, this is enough blush to last me well into my years of not feeling shame anymore. Which is a fun thought when you really start to think about it.

So much silver lining in those silver years, I say!

Luxie Beauty –  Small Tapered Blending Eye Brush 231: I always like getting brushes in my bag. This one hasn’t made it out of the plastic yet because I REALLY need to try out more of my other brushes. I am excited to give this one a try because it is soft enough to do a really great job blending my eye shadow.

I just need to stop my cat from thinking it is a chew toy!

Verdict: Ipsy has once again been the worth the money. This month was not as awesome as some of my past bags but I still dig it. The make up bag itself is my favorite design so far! However the products were less than exciting at first glance. Who knows? After some use they will

LOL I totally did!!! Whoopsie Daisy! It is IT Cosmetics Under eye foundation type thing. I am trying to find it to add it… but maybe it not only removed my under eye bags but is also removed some brains?

We got the same stuff! Love the IT concealer, but I put too much the first time (what’s the opposite of raccoon eyes?). The brush is awesome. (I had a similar one, but it fell behind my dresser and I’m too lazy to look for it.)Tried the blush, but I don’t know how to do blush, and the hair stuff is nice. The bag is cute. This is my first ipsy month, and I’m very pleased. 🙂

Yay bag twins! I need to get the courage to put the IT on. I just don’t trust the light in my place. I leave the house feeling like I am looking great but then peep myself in the car and am surprised at my poor make up job lol Hopefully Ipsy keeps bringing the good months to you!!!
